Rachel Holowicki is the founder of Brain Waves Educational Psychology. She specializes in helping children facing challenges such as ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and anxiety. She has worked as a Developmental Therapist, School Psychologist, and Licensed Educational Psychologist in Illinois and California. Rachel is dedicated to ensuring that each student receives the tailored support they need to thrive academically and emotionally. Her expertise extends to addressing the needs of gifted learners, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations and enrichment opportunities. Rachel also holds a certificate as a Diplomat in School Neuropsychology.
Samira Rastegar, LEP #2879, Licensed Educational Psychologist
Samira Rastegar is a dedicated School Psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Fluent in English and Farsi, Samira takes a strengths-based approach, emphasizing the importance of understanding not only the challenges students face but also their unique abilities. She specializes in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, providing executive functioning coaching, and delivering counseling services tailored to each student’s needs. Samira is passionate about empowering students to overcome obstacles and thrive in their educational journeys.
Kira Nashed Hanna, LEP #4135, Licensed Educational Psychologist
Kira Nashed Hanna is a Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 12 years of experience. Her approach is thoughtful, thorough, and child-centered, with the goal of helping families better understand their child’s strengths and areas of need. Kira has worked with families in the United States, United Kingdom, and the Middle East. She is bilingual in Arabic and has extensive experience working with diverse families across school, private, and international settings.
Dr. Katlyn Jordache, EdS, NCSP
Dr. Katlyn “Kat” Jordache is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with a strong passion for supporting neurodivergent students. She earned her Doctorate in Behavioral Health Management at Arizona State University. She has an extensive knowledge of effective interventions to promote academic and emotional success. Kat is dedicated to fostering inclusive environments through her research, advocacy, and hands-on experience. In addition to her clinical work, Kat also serves as an administrative assistant for the private practice.

Her work is grounded in a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach. She is passionate about empowering students and families with insights that foster academic growth and emotional well-being.
Casey Kerr, LEP #4587, Licensed Educational Psychologist
Casey Kerr is a Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 10 years of experience supporting the academic and emotional development of students from preschool through high school. Casey specializes in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) to provide families with clear, actionable insights into their child's unique learning profile. Blending this diagnostic expertise with supportive educational advocacy, Casey guides families through school concerns and the complexities of the IEP process. Casey is passionate about ensuring parents are informed and empowered, working collaboratively to help each student secure the necessary support to thrive.

Michelle Kaye, LCSW #4615, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Michelle Kaye is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been doing clinical work with children and families for over 16 years. She holds a post-graduate certification in Early Childhood Mental Health and reflective practice. Her clinical work with children and families have focused on neurodiverse children and children with other special and exceptional needs. Her practice focuses on teaching social and emotional skills through a collaborative, reflective and family centered lens. She is available at Brain Waves for Individual Child psychotherapy as well as parent consultation. Michelle is the author of the parenting book Better Than Good Enough: A Parenting Book for the Rest of Us.
Meagan Davidson
Meagan Davidson is a social work professional currently registering as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW). Her previous work as a special education classroom aide inspired her passion for working with neurodivergent students. She is dedicated to supporting children with diverse learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Meagan brings a warm, strengths-based lens to her work, creating a safe environment where children can explore big emotions, build confidence, and practice self-regulation.

Cynthia is a Speech Language Pathologist who enjoys working collaboratively with teachers and specialists to serve students in academic settings. She makes staying current with research and treatment techniques a priority, and has a special interest in childhood neurological and developmental disorders.
Gina Calabrese MA, CCC-SLP, CTP, Speech Language Pathologist
Gina is a Speech Language Pathologist and Trauma-Informed Professional providing specialized, individualized speech language services in-home & online. Specializes in neurodiversity affirming therapy, gestalt language processing (GLP), apraxia treatment, and trauma-informed care. She has additional expertise in early intervention and supporting attuned child-caregiver relationships. Prioritizes client autonomy, respect, consent, and emotional/sensory regulation. Gina assists families with school IEP process and provides guidance on educational laws and children's rights. She places an emphasis on rapport building with families, caregiver education, and client advocacy.
